About

Aaron Jordan is an accomplished three dimensional and mixed media artist with over twenty-five years in the feature film and television industry. His projects have taken him to Bulgaria, Japan, Montreal, and Calgary. He is based out of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Aaron’s career has now evolved to taking on the role of Art Director on several television shows and corporate projects. His time has also been spent in the role of Head Sculptor, creating ultra-realistic three dimensional environments while running crews of up to forty-five artists during the pre-production phase of movies and television series.

Growing up surrounded by artists and craftsmen of all mediums, Aaron took inspiration from those who work around him, and by the great masters such as Rodin, VanGogh, Gaudi and Klimt. Working for a few years in art galleries and museums led Aaron to study fine arts.

He went on to discover the world of film and was swept up by the creativity and diversity of the industry while working as a sculptor and carpenter, building sets and props. Working with a multitude of materials such as foam, clay, wood, metal and plastic, Aaron and his crew create realistic environments and objects, from ancient ruins, caves, and landscapes, to space ships, vehicles, statues, carvings, castings, and architectural elements, both large and small.

He also creates sculptures and other art forms for museums and corporate contracts.
